Trade Router Jigs

Four different jigs, three from Trend Tool Technology and the fourth one from CMT Tools

  • The first one is the Combination Router Base. It is a retro fit, quick change, multi-functional router base designed to:
    • Increase stability during routing.
    • Increase the level of precision achieved.
    • Save set up time between tasks.
    • The CRB has seven functions
      • An offset baseplate,
      • Router compass from 19mm to 224mm radius,
      • Adjustable trenching with a clamp guide with 40mm micro adjustment,
      • Adjustable anti-tilt support,
      • Adjustable mortising of timber from 50mm to 200mm width,
      • Adjustable false panel groove copier and also enhances the Varijig frame system as an anti-tilt device when used with routers that can accept Euro style guide bushes (a special guide bush ref GB40/B is required).

  • The second one is the Varijig system. It is an adjustable frame and guide for use with a router. It is composed of four lengths of 700mm extrusion with dual metric/imperial measuring scales - a working area 600mm x 600mm.
  • Adjustable frame for rectangles and squares.
  • Allows a router to cut recesses, slots, face panel moulds etc.
  • Can also be used to create panel doors for kitchens etc.

  • The third one is a Mortise and Tenon Jig Euro (Metric Size), enabling mortise & tenons and dowel joints to be cut with a router.
    • Ideal for cabinet, chair and table.
    • One set-up for both mortise and tenon giving perfectly fitting joints.
    • Fully adjustable for compound angle joints up to 45 degree.
    • Reversible templates to produce round and square end tenons.
    • Templates can be used for accurate dowelling applications.
    • Cuts mortise & tenon sizes of 6mm to 16mm.

  • The fourth one is an universal interlocking Joint jig. It makes it possible to make dovetails, half-blind dovetails and finger joints according to the chosen template, guided bush and router bit.
